Virgin founder Richard Branson tells actor Ryan Reynolds to take a cruise and relax with some of the actors Aviation Gin now carried on Virgin Voyages.
Actor Ryan Reynolds co-owner of the Oregon based American Aviation Gin recently met with Virgin Voyages founder Richard Branson to announce the partnership that was agreed to that will bring his gin to Virgin's Scarlet Lady.
Branson said “I can’t seem to escape Ryan. He keeps following me around. Thankfully I really enjoy Aviation Gin so I was excited to bring this product to Virgin Voyages after their partnership with Virgin Atlantic.”
Reynolds commented “My childhood dream was to have a guest role on ‘The Love Boat’ alongside Vic Tayback. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I’d be successful enough to have my own gin brand score a recurring role on a ship this deliriously luxurious and child-free. Only Richard Branson could make this type of magic happen.”
Aviation Gin will be the premier gin brand aboard Virgin Voyages cruise ships and featured in the gin cocktails onboard. Passengers aboard the ship will be able to sip gin cocktails like "Stella's Groove," "Electric Fizz" and an updated twist on a classic French 75. The cocktails were developed in partnership with mixologists from Bar Lab and the Cocktail Cartel and globally recognized bartenders like Charles Joly and Julia Momose.
