Donald will leave in May and move to Vice-Chairman of the Board.

Carnival Corporation, the parent company of Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, P&O Cruises, Costa Cruises, AIDA Cruises, and Cunard, has announced that CEO Arnold Donald will step down from his role on August 1, 2022.

The company said Donald would then join the Board of Directors as Vice-Chairman, and current COO Josh Weinstein will replace him. Donald said about Weinstein; I cannot think of anyone better suited for this role than Josh. Josh is a proven executive who is well-respected throughout the company, serving in key leadership roles, driving strong business results during his tenure, and playing an integral part in stewarding the company through the global pandemic."

Weinstein said about being chosen, "I have benefitted tremendously from Arnold's guidance and mentoring," Weinstein said. "I would like to thank him, Micky Arison, our chairman, and the entire Board of Directors for their support. I look forward to building upon the company's successes as we move forward."
