An auction on June 10 will decide where these two vessels will go.
The Maritime Executive reports that the two ocean-going cruise ships of Crystal Cruises have officially gone up for sale with an auction scheduled for next month.
According to the report, the Supreme Court Commercial Division in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas published the official notice of sale for the Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity.
The ships are available for inspection now, and bids are due to the court by June 7. You have to include a 10% deposit. If one is selected, the winning bidder will be notified by June 14.
The winner would then have an additional seven days to complete the acquisition and take possession of the ships on an “as is, where is” basis.
